Weird screen lines when clicking on top ...

This doesn't happen with every top site, but it does with a lot. when I click on one, I get a screen filled with weird vertical lines for a few seconds before the site appears. Other times, I get a strangely tiled screen. resetting top sites seems to help sometimes or briefly but never permanently.

Has anyone else had this experience and know of a cure?
